Kentucky High School Basketball - Community Christian can't hold off Carlisle County

December 10, 2022: Bardwell, KY 42023

The Carlisle County Comets basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Community Christian Warriors to 79 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Comets now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulton City for a District 1 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Carlisle County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-52 non-league loss to South Fulton (South Fulton, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Blue Tornado enter the District 2 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Paducah Tilghman nudged Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY), 62-61, in a non-league contest.
