Louisiana High School Basketball - Merryville nudges DeQuincy

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Merryville Panthers (Merryville, LA) basketball squad nipped the visiting DeQuincy Tigers (DeQuincy, LA), by a margin of 48-42.

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 9-2 record. In their last outing, South Beauregard was tipped by Iowa (Iowa, LA), 85-52, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Singer for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 13. DeQuincy will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 86-58 non-league loss to Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 7-6.
