The Gatesville Hornets basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Little River Academy Bumblebees to 50 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Gatesville will meet a Trojans team coming off a 69-38 non-league loss to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 0-7.

The Bumblebees (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Jarrell was defeated by Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
