Miami Wardogs (Miami, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK), 52-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Miami upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wardogs travel to Sequoyah (Claremore, OK) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Vinita Hornets (Vinita, OK) in a Verdigris Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Jay will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 65-58 non-league win over Jay (Jay, OK).
