Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lynn Bears (Lynn, AL), 71-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marion County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Red Raiders host Fayette County (Fayette, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Fayette County lost 64-61 in their recent league bout against Winfield (Winfield, AL)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Addison Bulldogs (Addison, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Lynn will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 77-71 non-league win over Winston County (Double Springs, AL).
