Madisonville Mustangs (Madisonville, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Navasota Rattlers (Navasota, TX), 52-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Madisonville upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to New Waverly (New Waverly, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-4. New Waverly lost 51-47 in their recent non-league bout against Hargrave (Huffman, TX)

Next up, the Rattlers play the Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Navasota will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 61-30 non-league win over Waller (Waller, TX).
