The New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) basketball nipped the visiting Vale Vikings (Vale, OR), 61-54 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Pilgrims (3-0) will now prepare for their test against The Ambrose School (Meridian, ID). The Archers go into the 2A Western Idaho test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, The Ambrose School was tipped by McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID), 63-34, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Parma for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Vale will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Caldwell (Caldwell, ID). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
