Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME), 64-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Winslow upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Black Raiders host Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME) to play the Huskies in a B North bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Maine Central Institute lost 74-57 in their recent league bout against Orono (Orono, ME)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) in a B North bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Presque Isle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Coyotes come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 60-50 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME).
