In Saturday's non-league outing, the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Covenant Academy (Macon, GA), by a margin of 37-27.
The Gryphons (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Northeast (Macon, GA). The Raiders go into the AA Region 2 outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Northeast was topped by Jones County (Gray, GA), 44-42, in a non-league outing.
