Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH), 54-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Alliance upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Aviators host Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, December 12. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Northwest won 46-26 in their recent league bout against Fairless (Navarre, OH)

Next up, the Lions play the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Minerva will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 47-41 league win over Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH).
