The Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), 46-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pintos (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Mesa Vista notched a victory over Cuba (Cuba, NM), 54-34, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Grants for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Bernalillo will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 47-35 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 0-5.
