North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Burke Bulldogs (Charleston, SC), 41-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Charleston upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Colleton County lost 69-35 in their recent non-league bout against Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) in a A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Burke will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 53-38 non-league win over Lake Marion (Santee, SC).
