The Holy Cross Academy Mustangs basketball team (Amarillo, TX), was overwhelmed 39-15 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions (Lubbock, TX)

The Golden Lions now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loop for a non-league battle on Friday, December 16. Christ the King Cathedral will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 45-15 non-league win over Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy (Midland, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-11.

The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Pringle-Morse was overwhelmed by Shamrock (Shamrock, TX), 53-26, in a non-league battle.
