In Saturday's league match, the host DeWitt Dragons basketball team scored a decisive 60-22 triumph over the Smackover Buckaroos.
In their next game, the Dragons meet the Abundant Life Owls (North Little Rock, AR) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 13. DeWitt will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
With the defeat, Smackover moves to 0-5 on the year. The Buckaroos host Dumas (Dumas, AR) to meet the Bobcats in a 3A Region 8 match on Tuesday, January 3. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 2-1.
