The McGehee Owls (McGehee, AR) basketball crushed the host Dollarway Cardinals (Pine Bluff, AR), 57-8 in Saturday's league test.
The Owls (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR). The Ricebirds go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Stuttgart walloped Clarendon (Clarendon, AR), 56-53, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Drew Central for a 3A Region 8 test on Wednesday, January 4.
