Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA) and the visiting Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA), saw Georgia Christian's basketball squad overcome Echols County by a tally of 44-36.

With the victory, Georgia Christian improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Windsor Academy (Macon, GA) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-6.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) in a A D2 Region 2 challenge, on Monday, December 12. Echols County will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 29-25 non-league loss to Hamilton County (Jasper, FL).
