Nebraska High School Basketball - Elkhorn South tops Grand Island

December 10, 2022: Grand Island, NE 68803

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE) and the host Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE), saw Elkhorn South's basketball squad knock off Grand Island by a tally of 52-36.

With the victory, Elkhorn South improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Omaha North (Omaha, NE) to play the Vikings in a A District TBD challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Omaha North lost 78-41 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE)

Next up, the Islanders play the Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Friday, December 16. Grand Island will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 63-47 league win over Burke (Omaha, NE).
