Illinois High School Basketball - Huntley nips Stevenson

Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), 54-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Huntley upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to McHenry (McHenry, IL) to play the Warriors in a Fox Valley bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-7. McHenry lost 49-23 in their recent non-league bout against Palatine (Palatine, IL)
Next up, the Patriots play the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) in a North Suburban bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Zee-Bees go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 34-31 non-league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL).
