Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) and the visiting Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA), saw Towns County's basketball squad wallop Lincoln County by a tally of 69-21.

With the victory, Towns County improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Aquinas (Augusta, GA) to confront the Fightin' Irish in a A D2 Region 8B challenge on Friday, December 16. The Fightin' Irish come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Aquinas lost 58-36 in their recent league challenge against Greene County (Greensboro, GA)

Next up, the Red Devils confront the Harlem Bulldogs (Harlem, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Lincoln County will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 42-34 non-league loss to Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA).
