With the victory, Longview improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Lobos host Tyler (Tyler, TX) to play the Lions in a 5A Region II District 15 challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Tyler lost 54-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Ferris (Ferris, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Maypearl Panthers (Maypearl, TX) in a 3A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Whitney will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 57-20 non-league win over Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX).
