In Saturday's league outing, the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), by a margin of 49-26.

The Maroons (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Western Big 6 outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Quincy was trounced by East Moline United (East Moline, IL), 41-38, in a league outing.

The Golden Warriors now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Rock Island for a Western Big 6 outing on Thursday, December 15. Sterling will clash with a Rocks squad coming off a 51-33 league loss to Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Rocks record now stands at 5-7.
