Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host North Rangers (Eastlake, OH), 59-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Beavers host Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to play the Bombers in a Western Reserve bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Bombers come into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Rangers play the Lutheran East Falcons (Cleveland Heights, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. North will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 60-21 non-league loss to St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH).
