The Pickens Dragons topped the host Northwest Whitfield Bruins basketball team by a final score of 57-44 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Dragons face the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) in a AAA Region 7 game, on Tuesday, December 13. Pickens will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 49-29 league win over Gilmer (Ellijay, GA).
