The Oakesdale Nighthawks basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Pomeroy Pirates to 33 in the Nighthawks league triumph on Saturday.
The Nighthawks now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Odessa for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Oakesdale will meet a Tigers team coming off a 74-5 league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
The Pirates (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sunnyside Christian (Sunnyside, WA). The Knights enter the 1B Southeast contest with a 2-0 record.
