Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Rapids-Rice nips Alexandria

December 10, 2024: Sauk Rapids, MN 56379

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) and the visiting Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN), observed Sauk Rapids-Rice's basketball team edge Alexandria by a margin of 81-76.

The Storm (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Brainerd (Brainerd, MN). The Warriors come into the AAAA Section 8 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Brainerd edged St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN), 86-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN) in a AAA Section 8 challenge, on Friday, December 13. Alexandria will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 76-43 non-league loss to Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN).
