North Carolina High School Basketball - Montgomery Central overwhelmed by Anson

December 10, 2024: Troy, NC 27371

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), by a final score of 86-62.

Next, the Bearcats clash with the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, December 11. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 60-46 non-league win over West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).

The Timberwolves (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Forest Hills was overwhelmed by Concord (Concord, NC), 79-56, in a non-league test.
