The Golden Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars come into the 3A Mid-State challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Rockingham County trounced Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 62-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Camels encounter the Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A Mid-State challenge, on Friday, December 13. Atkins will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 65-64 league loss to High Point Central (High Point, NC).
