The Montezuma Braves basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting B-G-M Bears to 44 in the Braves league triumph on Tuesday.

The Braves now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host GMG for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Montezuma will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 65-58 league loss to North Tama (Traer, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, B-G-M falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bears host H-L-V (Victor, IA) to confront the Warriors in a South Iowa Cedar game on Friday, December 13. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 2-2. H-L-V lost 60-48 in their recent league game against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA)
