In Tuesday's league contest, the host Barton Bears basketball team scored a close 47-41 win over the McCrory Jaguars.
The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marvell (Marvell, AR). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Marvell was tipped by Clarendon (Clarendon, AR), 54-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Lee Trojans (Marianna, AR) in a 2A Region 6 contest, on Friday, December 13. McCrory will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
