In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting International Academy Phoenix basketball team scored a big 59-33 triumph over the Beecher Buccaneers.

The Phoenix (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bentley (Burton, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Genesee Area - Red contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Bentley was trounced by New Standard Academy (Flint, MI), 78-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the Bendle Tigers (Burton, MI) in a Genesee Area - Red contest, on Friday, December 13. Beecher will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 70-55 non-league win over Morrice (Morrice, MI).
