Ohio High School Basketball - Walnut Ridge overwhelms Briggs

The Walnut Ridge Scots basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting Briggs Bruins to 26 in the Scots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Scots now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Eastmoor Academy for a Columbus City - South game on Friday, December 13. Walnut Ridge will confront a Warriors team coming off a 47-41 league loss to South (Columbus, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Briggs falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bruins host KIPP Columbus (Columbus, OH) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 3-0. KIPP Columbus won 70-51 in their recent non-league game against Wellington School (Columbus, OH)
