In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Slaughter Community Charter Knights basketball team scored a good 52-41 triumph over the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets.

The Knights (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northside Christian (Crowley, LA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Northside Christian topped South Cameron (Creole, LA), 56-24, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the Belaire Bengals (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Bengals go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 47-42 non-league loss to Baker (Baker, LA).
