The Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) basketball toppled the host Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions (Centralia, IL), 60-48 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Bunker Hill for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. Metro-East Lutheran will play a Minutemen team coming off a 57-45 league loss to Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Christ Our Rock Lutheran falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Silver stallions host Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL) to play the Lions in a Gateway bout on Friday, December 13. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Maryville Christian lost 52-26 in their recent league bout against Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL)
