The Union County Patriots basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Claiborne Bulldogs to 36 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Scott for a 3A District 4 game on Friday, December 13. Union County will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 64-60 non-league win over Roane County (Kingston, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Claiborne falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Washburn (Washburn, TN) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 3-3.
