The Dons (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainview (Plainview, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region I District 3 challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Plainview dropped by Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX), 61-55, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Coronado will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 63-42 non-league win over Odessa (Odessa, TX).
