In Tuesday's league test, the Marmaduke Greyhounds (Marmaduke, AR) basketball squad defeated the host Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), by a score of 72-64.

Next, the Greyhounds clash with the Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 12. Marmaduke will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record.

The Thunderbirds (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Rector (Rector, AR). The Cougars come into the 2A Region 3 test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Rector went down by Riverside (Lake City, AR), 57-52, in a league test.
