Georgia High School Basketball - Darlington can't hold off Temple

Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA), 58-54 in a league match.

With the victory, Temple advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Tigers host Bremen (Bremen, GA) to face the Blue Devils in a A D1 Region 6 match on Friday, December 13. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 3-3. Bremen lost 64-40 in their recent league match against Model (Rome, GA)

The Tigers now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pepperell for a A D1 Region 6 match on Friday, December 13. Darlington will face a Dragons squad coming off a 79-57 league loss to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 1-6.
