California High School Basketball - Vasquez holds off Faith Baptist

December 10, 2024: Canoga Park, CA 91304

The Vasquez Mustangs basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Faith Baptist Contenders to 58 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Valley Torah for a Heritage game on Wednesday, December 11. Vasquez will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 76-54 non-league win over Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Faith Baptist falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Contenders travel to The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA) to confront the Griffins in a Heritage game on Thursday, December 12. The Griffins go into the game with a record of 8-1. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy lost 58-39 in their recent league game against St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA)
