The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) and the visiting Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA), observed Gainesville's basketball team knock off Roswell by a score of 66-58.

The Red Elephants (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Longhorns come into the AAAAA Region 7 challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Lanier was knocked off by Milton (Milton, GA), 84-48, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Roswell falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA) to play the Gladiators in a AAAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, December 13. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Johns Creek won 69-63 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Roswell, GA)
