Kansas High School Basketball - Silver Lake thwarts Holton

December 10, 2024: Silver Lake, KS 66539

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Silver Lake Eagles (Silver Lake, KS) and the visiting Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS), observed Silver Lake's basketball team knock off Holton by a score of 67-50.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Centralia (Centralia, KS). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Centralia dropped by St. Marys (St. Marys, KS), 50-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) in a Big East challenge, on Friday, December 13. Holton will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 64-32 non-league win over Hanover (Hanover, KS).
