The Lauderdale County Tigers basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Lexington Golden Bears to 56 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Clements for a 3A Area 16 game on Friday, December 13. Lauderdale County will confront a Colts team coming off a 84-55 league loss to Colbert County (Leighton, AL). The Colts record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Lexington falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL) to confront the Lions in a 2A Area 15 game on Thursday, December 12. The Lions go into the game with a record of 4-7. Lindsay Lane Christian Academy lost 83-42 in their recent league game against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL)
