The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host St. Joseph Bulldogs to 56 in the Warhawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warhawks now have a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Quitman for a 2A Region 5 game on Friday, December 13. Mt. Vernon-Enola will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-43 league win over Bigelow (Bigelow, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, St. Joseph falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South Side (Bee Branch, AR) to confront the Hornet in a 2A Region 5 game on Friday, December 13. The Hornet go into the game with a record of 2-8. South Side lost 63-54 in their recent league game against White County Central (Judsonia, AR)
