The West Marion Trojans basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Sumrall Bobcats to 41 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Columbia for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. West Marion will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 62-34 league win over Purvis (Purvis, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Sumrall falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Richton (Richton, MS) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 7-2. Richton won 73-52 in their recent non-league game against Purvis (Purvis, MS)
