Texas High School Basketball - Alief Taylor overwhelms George Ranch

The Alief Taylor Lions basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host George Ranch Longhorns to 41 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they host Alief Elsik for a 6A Region III District 20 game on Friday, December 13. Alief Taylor will play a Rams team coming off a 51-44 league loss to Fulshear (Fulshear, TX). The Rams record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, George Ranch falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Alief Hastings (Houston, TX) to play the Bears in a 6A Region III District 20 game on Friday, December 13. The Bears go into the game with a record of 12-4. Alief Hastings won 41-29 in their recent non-league game against Angleton (Angleton, TX)
