North Carolina High School Basketball - Anson knocked off by Montgomery Central

December 10, 2024: Troy, NC 27371

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), by a score of 44-25.

Next, the Timberwolves encounter the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 13. Montgomery Central will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 60-34 non-league win over Concord (Concord, NC).

The Bearcats (2-4) will now prepare for their test against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, South Stanly was knocked off by West Stanly (Oakboro, NC), 61-34, in a non-league test.
