Next, the Spartans clash with the Mansfield Timberview Wolves (Arlington, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 test, on Friday, December 13. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Wolves come into the test with a 8-8 record after their 59-32 league win over Seguin (Arlington, TX).

The Elks (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Joshua (Joshua, TX). The Owls come into the 5A Region I District 8 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Joshua beat Everman (Everman, TX), 55-46, in a league test.
