In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Burns Hilanders basketball team scored a big 58-12 triumph over the Grant Union Prospectors.

The Hilanders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Crane (Crane, OR). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Crane smashed Grant Union (John Day, OR), 56-24, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Prospectors battle the Four Rivers Falcons (Ontario, OR) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Grant Union will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 48-39 non-league win over Compass Charter (Meridian, ID).
