The Watervliet Cannoneers basketball team scored 19 points and limited the visiting Chatham Panthers to 13 in the Cannoneers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cannoneers now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Maple Hill for a Section 2 Patroon game on Friday, December 13. Watervliet will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 47-44 league loss to Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Chatham falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cairo-Durham (Cairo, NY) to confront the Mustangs in a Section 2 Patroon game on Monday, December 16. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-1.
