Next, the Pirates encounter the Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 test, on Friday, December 13. Pine Tree will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 65-63 league win over Carthage (Carthage, TX).

The Knights (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region II District 16 test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Spring Hill beat Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 43-33, in a league test.
