In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Eastland Mavericks basketball team scored a good 43-31 triumph over the Peaster Greyhounds.

The Mavericks (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Indians go into the 3A Region I District 8 contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Comanche topped Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX), 72-11, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Greyhounds confront the Early Longhorns (Early, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 contest, on Friday, December 13. Peaster will attempt to better on its 16-2 season record. The Longhorns go into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 60-30 league win over Millsap (Millsap, TX).
